Ney Anban
Ney Anban is a type of bagpipe which is popular in southern Iran, especially around Bushehr. Nay-Anban literally means “bag pipe” and mostly played in Southern Iran. Persian Ney Anban is one of the oldest instruments that known in many countries as a genuine instrument. Bagpipes Instruments were one of the first musical instruments to be made by man. Nay Anban consist of two part, Handle or Jofti & Skin. In Bagpipes Sound is created by blowing air into it. Before playing, the musician fills the percussion instrument by blowing, and then takes the Jofti or handle in his/her hands and begins to play.
