Travelogue of Naser al-Din Shah to Gilan

In the text of these memoirs, Naser al-Din Shah does not explicitly mention why he was insistent on undertaking the journey to Gilan despite the heavy snow and severe cold, as well as the implicit opposition from those around him. However, upon his return in Qazvin, he provided an explanation, writing: "We had fled from the hands of Eid and the New Year's Eve, but it was not to be."
