Chador is a cover in Iran and some other countries in the form of semicircular fabrics and usually in black or white or colored. The chador is a long cloth and covers women from head to toe. Most chadors do not have sleeves and use hand or elastic to hold it. In ancient Iran, there are images in which women, in addition to their body clothing, cover themselves with a fabric similar to today’s women’s Chador. In the Achaemenid and Parthian eras, women wore chadors and wore Ben-shirts that were worn up to their ankles. In the Sassanid era, they sometimes wore a wide chador that reached to the middle of the stalk. Patterns made of Sassanid women on silver plates, each of which has a chador wrapped around it.
