Vocal Radif & Old Tasnifs
The Book “Vocal Radif & Old Tasnifs” is written by Faramarz Payvar. Abdullah Khan Davami (1270 Tad village, Tafresh – December 11, 1980) was one of the masters of original Iranian music. Abdullah Davami was born in 1270 in the village of Tad in Tafresh. As a teenager, he became a student of Ali Khan, the viceroy, and learned the vocal line from him. Later, he studied with other professors such as Mirza Abdullah, Aghahsinghli, Darvish Khan and Hossein Khan Ismailzadeh. During the Constitutional Revolution, Abdullah Davami traveled abroad with a number of artists known as Iranian traditional music, such as Darvish Khan, to record music sheets, which resulted in several collections of Iranian music compositions and colors.
