The Divan of Hafez is the complete collection of all poems attributed to Hafez-e Shirazi, one of the most celebrated Persian poets. First officially compiled and published between 1200 and 1206 AH, the divan preserves his ghazals, qasidas, masnavis, qit’as, and rubaiyat. While the number of poems varies across different editions, the ghazals—around 500 in total—form the core of his work, exploring themes of love, mysticism, philosophy, and reflections on the society of his time.
