Tarikhnama or Tarikh-i Bal'ami is actually a translation of Tabari's history, in which the history of the world from the beginning of Adam's creation to the beginning of the 4th century of Hijri is stated. Abu Ali Bal'ami translated Tabari's history into Farsi by the order of Mansour ibn Nouh Samani. The correction of the present edition was done by Mohammad-Taqi Bahar, but the work was not published during his lifetime.
