Soziologie und Philosophie Book by Theodor W. Adorno and Émile Durkheim (Farsi)

Description

Sociology and Philosophy by Émile Durkheim is a foundational collection of essays in which Durkheim articulates his vision of sociology as both a dynamic system and a framework for moral life. Originally published in English in 1953, the book demonstrates Durkheim’s efforts to reconcile sociological methodology with philosophical inquiry. He critiques two major streams of social thought—political economy and utilitarian philosophy on one hand, and idealist holism on the other—challenging the notion that moral ideals alone drive societal evolution. The essays also revisit key Durkheimian themes, such as the division of labor, showing how social structures, norms, and collective moral forces shape individual behavior and advance the scientific study of society.
