Aromatic Bustan Poem Book by Saadi Shirazi
The Bustan is a book of poetry by the Persian poet Saadi, completed in 1257 CE and dedicated to the Salghurid Atabeg Sa’d I or Sa’d II. Bustan is considered one of two major works of Saadi. It was Saadi’s first work, and its title means “the orchard”.
Abū-Muhammad Muslih al-Dīn bin Abdallāh Shīrāzī, better known by his pen-name Saadi, also known as Saadi of Shiraz, was a major Persian poet and prose writer of the medieval period. He is recognized for the quality of his writings and for the depth of his social and moral thoughts.
