Description

In Michel Bussi's "Maman a tort," four-year-old Malone Molin is trapped in nightmares where he perceives himself as a complete stranger, boldly claiming that his mother is not his real mother. Despite school teachers insisting that Malone's vivid imagination is at play, citing his mother's identification documents, childhood photos, and even a pediatrician confirming Malone's identity as her son, school psychologist Vassilis remains convinced. Vassilis begins recording their conversations and interprets the creatures Malone uses in his childhood stories as symbolic representations in an attempt to piece together the narrative. Convinced of Malone's truth, Vassilis turns to Police Commander Marianne Augrese, investigating a gang tied to a luxury store heist and a murder in the neighboring town of Duil.
