Description

"Goftamash An Masnavi Takhir Shod" is a collection of poems by Homayoun Katouzian. Although Katouzian is not widely recognized as a poet, he had previously published another poetry collection titled "Khesht-e Kham" (Raw Brick). This new collection includes both free verse and Nimaic poems, as well as traditional Persian forms such as ghazals. In the introductory note titled "Yad Bad Az Najd Va Az Yaran-e Najd," Katouzian reflects on his memories of poetry and emphasizes that his poetry writing was never intended to establish him as a poet, even though he has been composing poetry since childhood. He recalls, "I have been writing poetry since I was eight years old. I vividly remember the first piece I composed in 1949, during the intense struggle to nationalize the oil industry.
