Magic Required Vol. 2 Novel by Obert Skye (Farsi)
Description
Electra by Euripides, likely written in the 410s BCE, retells the myth following the murder of Agamemnon. After Agamemnon sacrifices their daughter Iphigenia to appease Artemis and secure passage to Troy, his wife Clytemnestra and her lover Aegisthus kill him upon his return. In Euripides’ version, Electra is cast out of the royal household and married to a poor farmer to prevent her from bearing noble heirs who might avenge her father. Living in hardship, she longs for justice. When two strangers arrive—her exiled brother Orestes and his companion Pylades—recognition unfolds, leading to a calculated revenge that raises troubling moral questions about justice, loyalty, and divine will.
