Avesta – The Religious Book of the Parsees
Avesta is the name of the oldest collection of Zoroastrian including writings and poems, which was the encyclopedia of the Iranians and in ancient times had twenty-one sections and now has five sections. Parts of the Avesta have been written by numerous people in different eras, but only a part of the Poems are from Zarathustra himself.

It is said that after Alexander the Great set fire to the palace of the Persian Empire, he also burned the ancient Avesta, which contained 815 seasons. Parthian Blash ordered the scattered Avesta to be collected from the cities of Iran. Ardeshir Babakan commissioned Tensor to arrange it. His son Shapur I followed his father’s work, and finally, after compiling the Avesta, 348 chapters were obtained, which were divided into twenty-one generations in the same ancient way.
