Assembly by Antonio Negri and Michael Hardt (Farsi)

Description

"Assembly" by Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri confronts the challenges of contemporary "leaderless" social movements that have emerged globally. From North Africa to Europe and beyond, these movements, while impactful, often face criticism for being disorganized. Hardt and Negri argue against a return to traditional centralized leadership, proposing a reversal of roles: leaders focus on short-term tactics, while the multitude drives long-term strategy. Drawing on their Empire trilogy, the authors advocate for inventive, democratic assembly models to empower these movements for meaningful and lasting change. "Assembly" provides a timely blueprint for navigating the complexities of modern activism and realizing the potential of the multitude.
