"Haft Khan-e Rostam" is a dramatic adaptation of one of episodes from Ferdowsi's "Shahnameh," presented in the traditional format of parde naghali. The story begins with King Kay Kavus of Iran, who decides to conquer the mythical land of Mazandaran. Kay Kavus marches his army to Mazandaran. However, the king’s hubris leads to disaster as the White Demon (Div-e Sepid) uses magic to blind and capture the entire Iranian army, including the king. Realizing his mistake, Kay Kavus sends a surviving soldier to Zabolestan to seek help from Zaal. Zaal instructs his son Rostam, the mightiest hero of Iran, to embark on a perilous journey to save the king and his men. To do so, Rostam must pass through the Seven Labors, known as the Haft Khan, each more dangerous and challenging than the last. This product contains the elements needed for parde naghali.
