"The Book of Ahmad" is a literary work authored by Abdul'Rahim Talibov, an enlightened writer from the pre-Constitutional era. This book was published in the lunar years 1311 and 1312 in Istanbul. "The Book of Ahmad" is constructed based on dialogues and interviews. Within the pages of this work, the author engages in discussions and conversations on a wide range of scientific, social, political, and philosophical topics with a fictional character named Ahmad. It is considered one of the earliest educational books for young readers in the Persian language. Many observers recognize the influence of Jean-Jacques Rousseau in this work. In fact, the author himself, in the eighth section of the book, writes: "The French author, from whose words Ahmad (Emile) conveys most of the introductory materials, is indebted to his book's design." Here, "the French author" clearly refers to Rousseau.
