This is a truly beautiful and very interesting album, written
and arranged by Hamid Motebassem, a very well known and experienced Iranian musician, Tar and seh tar player,
songwriter and arranger, ensemble leader and orchestra
conductor. He is accompanied by Salar Aghili, a well known Iranian traditional music singer, singing poetry of
the very famous Iranian poet, Molana Jalaledin Balkhi, also
known as Rumi and also accompanied by the Mezrab Ensebmle, whose members were hand picked and trained by Hamid Motebassem. This album comes in two format,
a DVD and a CD. There is also a detailed booklet about the songs and the players. Highly recommended.
