The Name of the Rose: Essays and Conversations by Umberto Eco (Farsi)

Writer: Umberto Eco

37.70

"The Name of the Rose" by Umberto Eco is a masterful historical mystery novel set in a Benedictine monastery in Italy during the 14th century. The story unfolds in 1327 as Brother William of Baskerville, a Franciscan friar, and his novice, Adso of Melk, arrive at the abbey to attend a theological debate. However, their mission takes a turn when they are drawn into the investigation of a series of mysterious deaths occurring within the monastery's walls. Brother William, who is known for his sharp intellect and deductive reasoning, begins to investigate the deaths, which appear to be linked to a secretive and forbidden manuscript. As he delves deeper into the labyrinthine library of the abbey, he uncovers a web of intrigue, heresy, and corruption.
