This book is a joint work of three great historians, Hassan Pirnia, Seyyed Mohammad Bassam & Abbas Iqbal Ashtiani. This book generally consists of three sections: The first section, which covers the period from ancient Iran to the extinction of the Sassanids (before Islam), has been compiled by Hassan Pirnia. The second part includes the events of the rise of Islam, the Rashidun Caliphs, the Umayyads and the Abbasids (History of Islam) by Seyyed Mohammad Bassam, and the final part examines the history of post-Islamic Iran by Abbas Iqbal Ashtiani.
