This is a truly fantastic Iranian traditional music album, by
Hamid Motebassem, a well known Iranian Tar and Setar player, songwriter and arranger, Ensemble leader and music tutor, Homayoun Shajarian, the son of the great late Mohammadreza Shajarian, the top Master of Iranian
traditional music, who was trained by his father and is an
excellent singer, Tonbak and Kamanche player, and the
excellent Simorgh Ensemble, assembled and directed by
Hamid Motebassem, with beautiful poetry from the excellent Shahnameh by Ferdowsi. This is a very highly recommended DVD album.
