The album "Sepehr" by Naqsh Ensemble, eloquently described by Amir Sharifi, is a captivating fusion of three classical Iranian musical instruments. Each album, "Panjgah" and "Sepehr," represents a synthesis of three instruments influenced directly by the interweaving method of the Mod system in the Farahanid lineage. Both albums showcase an amalgamation of the recognized content of each instrument, displaying an extended form of the instrument's structure. Notably, these two works, with matching quantities and sequence of pieces, complement each other as they both start with a shared prelude. They proceed to present three solos, interspersed with modulations and transformations, and conclude with a vocal piece based on the "Amal" form.

Another excellent Iranian traditional music album by Amir Sharifi, who is an experienced Tar player and songwriter and Mojtaba Asgari, who is an excellent singer and was trained by the late Ostad Shajarian. I highly recommend this album to everyone who likes Iranian traditional music.
