She returns to her hometown as planned by her family, to spend two months away from her father, just like her siblings, to take care of her elderly mother and her mentally and physically ill brother. In Tehran, Farangis faced numerous challenges, including an unsuccessful marriage and divorce, which she gradually reveals to the readers throughout the story.
