Lonely House Album by Saeed Farajpouri and Salar Aghili
Description
Love and Information by British playwright Caryl Churchill is an experimental, fragmented stage play first performed in 2012 at London’s Royal Court Theatre, directed by James McDonald, and later published by Concord Theatricals / Samuel French. Running approximately 105 minutes, it exemplifies postmodern theatre through its flexible, non-linear structure. The play consists of seven sections with multiple brief scenes, many lasting only seconds, featuring over a hundred unnamed characters. Dialogue is minimal and anonymous, and stage directions are sparse, giving directors complete freedom in arrangement and interpretation. Churchill presents a contemporary world caught between a flood of data and the human desire for connection, exploring the complexities of communication, knowledge, and emotional intimacy in modern life.
