Black as the depths of my own Africa is the title of a collection of poems by Langston Hughes, a prominent black American poet, which was translated into Persian and performed with the warm voice of the famous Iranian poet Ahmed Shamlou and accompanied by Keith. This work is an artistic hybrid that combines the sound of Chamalo and jazz music with the powerful lyrics of Hughes. Ahmed Shamlou, who is one of the prominent poets and committed to social issues, helped strengthen the voice of protest and humanity in Hughes' works by selecting and translating Hughes's poems. With his impressive voice and mastery of world literature, Shamlou has been able to give new life to these later poems. Shamlou's voice, along with Keith Jarrett's jazz music, which is connected with the free and emotional soul of jazz, has created a unique combination of words and music. This work, both literary and musical, is a deep journey into the culture, pain and beauty of black American resistance, which has become an outstanding and thought-provoking listening and cultural experience with the distinctive voice of Shamlu and Keith Jarrett's music.
