Vahshi Bafqi Persian Poet

Vahshi Bafghi was a Persian poet of the Safavid period. Vahshi Bafghi was born in the agricultural town of Bafq, southeast of the city of Yazd. He is also known as Kamal al-din or Shams al-Din Mohammad. One of his works was Shirin and Farhad in the meter of Nizami’s romantic epic. But the work was left unfinished at the time of Vahshi’s death.
