Attar of Nishapur

Attar of Nishapur known as Abū Ḥamīd bin Abū Bakr Ibrāhīm, or by his pen-names Farīd ud-Dīn, was a Persian poet, theoretician of Sufism, and hagiographer from Nishapur who had an immense and lasting influence on Persian poetry and Sufism. The Mausoleum of Attar of Nishapur (or Attar Neyshaburi) is located in Nishapur in northeastern Iran. It’s located near the Mausoleum of Omar Khayyám.
