Nizami Ganjavi Persian Poet
Nizami Ganjavi, Nizami Ganje’i, Nizami, or Nezāmi, whose formal name was Jamal ad-Dīn Abū Muḥammad Ilyās ibn-Yūsuf ibn-Zakkī, was a 12th-century Persian Sunni Muslim poet. Nezāmi is considered the greatest romantic epic poet in Persian literature. Nizami Ganjavi is known as the master of storytelling style and leader in Persian literature. Exact information about his life is not available. Khamsa is the masterpiece work of Nizami Ganjavi. The Khamsa or Panj Ganj has about 28900 bits. He is one of those speakers who, like Ferdowsi and Saadi, was able to create and complete a special style and method. Some scholars consider Nezami Ganjavi to be the founder of Saqinameh. Later, other poets such as Hafez continued the military path and turned Saqinameh into a style in Persian literature.
