Dastgah e Nava by Mousa Maroufi

Mousa Maroufi (born 1268 in Tehran – died 7 September 1344 in Tehran) was a musician, string player, teacher and collector of Iranian music. He was the father of Javad Maroufi. He was born in 1268 in a religious and music-loving family in Tehran. He was the son of Mohammad Ismail Khan Amin al-Mulk and the nephew of Mirza Ali Asghar Atabak, the prime ministers of Nasser al-Din Shah and Muzaffar al-Din Shah.
