Shahram Nazeri (born February 20, 1980 in Kermanshah) is an Iranian Kurdish musician and singer. He is one of the well-known singers of original Iranian music and nicknamed the “Knight of Iranian Song”. The Asian Association Assembly called him “Asia’s Top Artist”, the New York Times called him “Persian Nightingale” and the Christian Science Monitor called him “Luciano Pavarotti of Iran”. has been known as an artist since the beginning of the fifties and his first albums were released as joint albums with Mohammad Reza Shajarian with patriotic content and themes such as freedom-seeking in the late fifties by Chavosh Center.
