Persian Filigree
Filigree is a branch of metalworking art. It may span from delicate jewelry to cast iron railings and balustrades. The main raw material of filigree is silver. Persian Filigree is one of the main handicrafts of Isfahan, Ardabil, Zanjan and Boroujerd. The oldest Filigree objects in Iran, according to most scholars, belong to the years 550 to 330 BC.
