Persian to English & English to Persian Dictionary by Aryanpur
Arianpour Dictionary (Pishro Arianpour Dictionary) is the name of a series of English to Persian and Persian to English dictionaries in various volumes, written by Abbas Arianpour Kashani and Manouchehr Arianpour Kashani and published by Amirkabir Publishing House in 1974. This Dictionary has 1440 pages and printed in Otavo.
Manoochehr Aryanpur Kashani
Manoochehr Aryanpur Kashani is an Iranian translator and lexicographer. Manouchehr Arianpour was born on the 7th of Shahrivar 1308 in Kashan. After graduating, he taught at American universities and in 1348, together with his father, he founded the Higher School of Translation in Iran. This high school trained students in various fields of translation. He received his doctorate from the University of Colorado in 1958 with a dissertation on Walter Raleigh. Manouchehr Arianpour Kashani In the early years of the 1350s, with the help of students and some professors of the same high school, he began to compile the Arianpour dictionary, which today results in a variety of Persian to English and English to Persian dictionaries.
